Public Health Flu Shots
The Madison County Public Health Department wishes to thank the residence of Madison County for passing the mill levy vote for our department. The Montana Department of Revenue has notified the Madison County Tax Appeal Board that classification and appraisal notices have been mailed to affected property owners and purchasers under contracts for deed.These appraisals are the basis for calculation of the tax payment due in November. Taxpayers are encouraged to review the notices and contact the Department of Revenue at (406) 843-5335 located in the Madison County Courthouse concerning questions about the appraisals. Taxpayers have the right to appeal decisions of the Department of Revenue to the Madison County Tax Appeal Board.
The taxpayer must contact the Department of Revenue within 30 days of receipt of the appraisal notice in order to start the tax appeal process.
