Dear Fair Sponsor:
Happy New Year!!! It’s that time of year again to start thinking about the 2012 County Fair. We are celebrating the 100th Birthday of 4-H this year! Come and enjoy 100 years of hard work, dedication, and agriculture. The fair will be August 8-12, 2012. We will have a week packed full of excitement and entertainment for all ages.
As a county and community event, we encourage and invite local businesses, vendors and individuals to get involved. We continue to focus our efforts on the children in 4-H, FFA, and agriculture. Each year we offer many displays, both in open class and 4-H/FFA exhibits. We are striving for entertainment for everyone which includes concerts, magicians, karaoke, strolling acts, a petting zoo, a Senior Citizens BBQ, rodeo, stick horse rodeo, vendors, police dog demonstrations, goat roping, team sorting, ranch rodeo, team roping, and barrel racing events. The big event that the Madison County Fair puts on is the NRA rodeo which draws folks from contestants to families, both inside and outside of our community for a social gathering. The Fair has provided groups such as the Twin Bridges Rotary, Twin Bridges Senior Center, 4-H clubs, and Close up with fund raising opportunities. In the past individuals have enjoyed the Ringling 5, Eric Dodge, Charley Jenkins, Brenn Hill, Kent Messmer (magician), and Play with Gravity, for added enjoyment.
With the Grandstands back in working order, our NRA proved to be a huge success in 2011. Our rodeo was awarded the Gold Award for NRA Rodeo of the year in Montana. It was an honor for our community to receive such an award. Our volunteers have worked many years on this event and the Gold Award served as a “thank you” for all their efforts to help make our fair a success.
This year we would like to bring in some local talent, The Dirty Shame Band from Bozeman, Montana. In the tradition of original outlaws like Willie Nelson and David Allan Coe, the music of The Dirty Shame is resistant to classification and genre. Often regarded as outlaw country, the Dirty Shame brings together influences from rock, country, blues, Honky-tonk and Irish roots. Their original music is full of emotional highs and lows drawn from their own life experiences. In order to have this quality entertainment, we are seeking additional sponsors to help in this endeavor. We have invited The Dirty Shame to perform after the NRA Rodeo on Friday, August 10 and Saturday, August 11, 2012.
We are also excited to be able to offer Swoop Productions BMX bicycle stunt shows on August 10 and August 11, 2012.
Our mission is to provide the community with exceptional entertainment and educational programs for people of all ages. Without your support, we would not be able to provide free admission to the fair entertainment, educational displays, and contests.
The Madison County Fair is asking for your assistance in promoting our annual event and proud heritage. Our 2012 Fair will encompass several new experiences for the entire family to enjoy. Please help us continue to offer quality family entertainment and all the great experiences of our fair by sponsoring our event.
This will be an excellent advertising opportunity as well as a benefit to the county and community. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Enclosed is a Sponsor Level sheet for you to choose from.
Thank you in advance for your support. We look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
